Ethan - Meteor Hunter
Ethan: Meteor Hunter is an inventive 2D puzzle-platformer...
The narrative follows Lil and Laarg, two hapless, oblong prisoners trying to escape from a grim, industrial labyrinth controlled by a tyrannical captor named Bakuki. The gameplay is entirely touch- and gesture-driven: rather than directly controlling the characters with standard directional buttons, players interact entirely with the environment. You tap to make them walk, swipe the front or rear touch panels to manipulate objects, tap characters to inflate them with helium or make them run, and tilt the console to guide them around deadly traps like buzzsaw blades, electric grids, and bottomless pits. Every miscalculation results in gruesome, slapstick demises, turning trial-and-error puzzle solving into a darkly humorous experience.
