Flyhunter Origins for the PS Vita puts players in the shoes of Zak, a clumsy but well-meaning janitor working on a spaceship carrying a crew of notorious intergalactic flyhunters. When an accidental mishap releases the ship's precious cargo of dangerous, mutated flies onto Earth, Zak has to step up to capture them before they cause widespread panic. The gameplay combines 2.5D platforming navigation—jumping over gaps, dodging alien hazards, and smacking hostile creatures with a swatter-style melee tool—with occasional flight or chase sequences. The PlayStation Vita version packages this colorful, cartoon-inspired cosmic adventure with touch-friendly elements and portable-friendly stage designs.
