Ridge Racer
Ridge Racer is an arcade racing game developed by Cellius...
The core conceit of Paranautical Activity is simple: you are trapped in a mysterious dimension and must fight your way through floor after floor of escalating danger to escape. Unlike traditional shooters where you can aim down sights or camp behind cover, movement is your primary lifeline. You must constantly strafe, jump, and dodge while keeping your reticle locked onto relentless monsters.
Every run features a randomized layout of rooms, enemies, bosses, and item shops. Defeating enemies rewards you with gold, which can be spent at station shops to purchase devastating weapons, passive stat buffs, and health upgrades. However, death is absolute—if you fall in combat, your run ends immediately, sending you all the way back to the start and forcing you to adapt to an entirely new set of procedural conditions on your next attempt.
