In Croixleur Sigma, two rival noble factions—the Lucian and Aristocrat houses—compete for political power in the Admonition Tower. To determine control, young female representatives enter the monster-infested tower to conquer its levels and prove their strength. Players follow Lucrezia, Francesca, Kaguya, and Sara as they fight through waves of demonic creatures, uncover the history of the tower, and compete for victory.
The gameplay revolves around arena-based wave survival across circular battle arenas. Players equip four unique weapons before each run, assigning specific magical special attacks to each blade. During combat, players switch weapons seamlessly mid-combo, chaining light strikes, heavy launcher attacks, dash cancels, and ultimate magical bursts to defeat large crowds of enemies. Defeated foes drop coins and collectible accessories that unlock cosmetic customizations, passive stat buffs, and combat enhancements. Featuring smooth 60fps performance on the PS Vita, multiple game modes, and arcade-style scoring systems, Croixleur Sigma offers an energetic, fast-paced hack-and-slash experience.
