The story follows two brothers who run a renowned bakery, until one of them gets possessed by a cursed baking hat found in their school basement. Playing as the younger brother, you must embark on a quest across a series of food-themed worlds to save your sibling and stop the chaotic confectionary madness.
The gameplay combines traditional precision jumping with item collection. Players traverse stages filled with moving platforms, environmental hazards, hidden warp zones, and whimsical enemies. Collecting food items (like donuts, cookies, and candy bars) builds up health and extra lives, while hunting down hidden "B-A-K-E" cookies in each stage rewards thorough exploration. Beyond standard running and jumping, levels mix up the pacing with vehicle segments, underwater swimming, and unique gravity mechanics.
