The core gameplay loop of Pix the Cat borrows the classic tail-growing mechanics of Snake, but infuses them with high-speed arcade puzzle design. As Pix moves around closed arena grids, every rescued duckling falls in line behind him. The catch is that your tail keeps growing: once you pick up a duckling, it trails behind you everywhere you go, and hitting walls or your own growing train forces a reset.
Players must drop off the ducklings at designated target zones across each map, managing momentum, tight corners, and shifting floor layouts. Entering "Fever Mode" dramatically speeds up the action, turning the screen into a frantic display of blazing arcade energy, combo multipliers, and chain reactions. In addition to its deep arcade campaign, the game features robust local multiplayer modes that turn chaotic cat-and-duck combat into a fierce party game.
