Natural Doctrine
Dive into a brutally challenging and deeply tactical dark...
MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is a traditional first-person dungeon-crawling RPG developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory International. The game is set in a fantasy world where the planet's core has abruptly stopped rotating, threatening eternal darkness. To restore planetary motion, five magical heroines known as Machina Mages—each aligned with natural elemental powers like Earth, Fire, Wood, Gold, and Water—must journey through elaborate towers guarded by dangerous creatures.
Players control Estra and her companions as they navigate treacherous, unmapped grid labyrinths, solve environmental puzzles, and avoid dangerous traps. Combat blends classic turn-based JRPG mechanics with mechanical customization, utilizing massive customizable robotic units called Guardians. Players can swap out various parts, weapons, and armor modules on their Guardians to target enemy elemental weaknesses. Featuring quality-of-life adjustments like auto-mapping, fast-forward battle options, and dual audio support, MeiQ delivers a quintessential portable dungeon crawl.
